Appartamento a Roma
Description The challenge of the project lay in giving the house a new sense of space while maintaining its character linked to the presence of period Venetian-style floors.
By directly connecting the main bedroom, living room, dining room and kitchen as areas of a large nave, the corridor becomes an alternative layout and a filter into the secondary rooms.
The divisions between these areas are dematerialized in different ways: between the bedroom and the living room a classic partition is crossed symmetrically by two retractable sliding doors; between the living room and the kitchen an iron truss makes up the structure of a transparent wall system serving the dining room and the kitchen.
